Metal Quilt Block - Log Cabin
This is a metal quilt block, a log cabin pattern. It is made from steel and copper, with various patinas (colors). It is part of a series that I am working on, starting with a quilt block pattern, working with patinas to get the colors that I want, and then making it in metal. These are designed to be hung on the wall, like a painting.

Mobius installed in public art program in Monument Colorado
I drove to Monument Colorado to deliver my largest Mobius sculpture. It will be in their public art program for the 2014-2015 season. If you happen to be driving that way, it is just west of I-25, in front of the big red schoolhouse.

Making Multiple Mobius
I have had a flurry of orders come in for the one foot size Mobius sculpture that I make. The latest order was from a new client, another college in California. They wanted three Mobius, all different. I ended up making them one in shiny copper, one in shiny steel, and one in patinated copper. It took more time, but I learned some things, and now I can offer the Mobius in more different colors.
